The Scarab- costume designs

Here we have a sneak peek at a costume design done for us by Jay Odjick (hope I spelled that right Jay).

Since this design we've decided to add a chest insignia- but this will give you a pretty good idea of what THE SCARAB will look like.

Press release

Brett Kelly Entertainment, the Canadian indie film production company responsible for such films as “My Dead Girlfriend”, “The Bonesetter” and “Prey for the Beast” is at it again.
The company is in pre-production on the super-hero action film THE SCARAB, based on the public-domain Nedor Comics hero of the 1940’s. The film, which is currently being cast, will be directed by Brett Kelly and is written by Kelly and Trevor Payer.
“Fans of these classic heroes can expect to see them come to life with a lot of action and many great battle sequences.” Says Kelly; “You can also expect to see appearances from other heroes and villains from the wonderful world of PD comics.” He teases.

Production is expected to commence in early 2009. Kelly is currently in post-production on the military/robot/ action film IRON SOLDIER and is in the final stages of post-production on PIRATES: QUEST FOR SNAKE ISLAND. THE SCARAB promises to keep the tradition of ambitious, action-packed indie movie moving forward.
