Second Weekend Completed

Days 3 and 4 are wrapped. We once again got some great stuff in a good stretch of time. Our scheduling has been bang-on so far and the footage is looking great. We shot day 3 at the University of Ottawa and had a large group of extras come out to play students of Professor Peter Ward (The Scarab). We were also introduced to the characters of Prof. Joab and his bodyguard Bart Hill. On Day 4, we shot in the back room and office of The Comic Book Shoppe on Bank St (thanks Jody, Joe and Rob). We filmed The Scarab and Woman in Red taking out some thugs as well as a stand-off with THE BLACK TERROR (John McLenachan). Thanks to the cast and crew for some hard work!

First Weekend

The first weekend of shooting has come and gone. We got some great footage and we thank the actors for putting up with the cold. Here are a few images of the WOMAN IN RED (Alix Pasquet) kicking some butt.
Thanks to Alix for being a trooper- it isn't easy wearing a superhero costume in the dead of winter.

Enjoy. Shooting resumes this coming weekend.

Costume fitting

Hey Folks

So- a coupla things. Firstly-the costume is mostly done for our title character. Mark Courneyea came by to try on some of the elements- I'll post a photo for all to see.

Also- in other news, Gary Peterson had to step down as the BLACK TERROR, in his place is John McLenachan.

Gary and his lovely lady just welcomed a new son into the world so his priorities must shift for the time being.

We welcome John to the production.

Hey Folks

Have a gander at the logo that will appear on THE SCARAB's costume. Looks pretty snazzy, huh?
